Abstract

This paper aims to aims to extend the model of similarity solutions for stellar structures as given by G A Wynn, (JST Vol. 7 2008) to luminosity relations and power due to nuclear reactions, for stars in radiative equilibrium which are approaching the main sequence. The luminosity relation was found to be proportional to the mass of the star to the power of 3, supporting previous research carried out on stellar structure theory.
