Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission is the work of the authors and has not been copied form another source. All material from other sources contained in the paper has been correctly referenced.
  • The paper title conforms to the PST title format.
  • The text adheres to the PST house style.
  • The submitted file is in pdf format

Author Guidelines

Guidance for writing and submitting PST papers is also available through the PA4980 Teams site in the "pst-authors-guide.pdf". Please follow the submission instructions carefully.

1. Papers must only be submitted as articles.

2. Papers must conform to the PST house style. A template containing detailed instructions is available on the PA4980 Teams site.

2. Papers must be submitted with the correct title format. The correct format is: GroupIdentifier PaperSequenceNumber Paper Title
Eg: P1 3 Jupiter, or, P2 5 Quantum Wells

3. Articles must be original, and they must be quantitative; extended essays or review articles will not be accepted. 

4. The main body of each article (text, figures, etc.) must be less than 2 pages. The reference list may extend into a third page. Articles will always be resubmitted for review if the total length is above 3 pages, or where the main body of the article is over 2 pages in length.
