Abstract

In this paper we investigate the impacts the spread of a zombie virus would have on the global population if just one person were infected at day 0. We model the spread of the virus using the SIR model and solve the ordinary dierential equations of the model once we have parameterized it. We find that by Day 100 the remaining human population is just above the required threshold to repopulate the Earth.
