Abstract

In this paper we have discovered that under certain circumstances, a Pokeball from the Pokemon franchise in fact becomes a lethal weapon. We considered the structural integrity of the device when a Gastly is forced inside and found that the pressure exerted on the Pokeball from the Pok ́emon would destroy it, sending shards of shrapnel outwards at a velocity of 725 m s^(-1).
