Abstract

This article investigates the possibility of liquid water existing on the surface of Europa. The surface temperature of Europa due to the Sun alone is found and the atmospheric pressure discussed. These values are then compared on a phase diagram for water, and it is found that liquid cannot exist due to the surface conditions of Europa
