About the Journal

Focus and Scope

The journal is published as an educational tool by students on the Natural Sciences/Interdisciplinary Science undergraduate degree programmes at the University of Leicester (UK) and iScience students at McMaster University (Canada).

The journal accepts brief articles on topics original to the authors. It does not accept reviews or summaries of other peoples work. It is managed by an editorial board which rotates around the student body and is overseen by a member of staff. The journal forms part of the assessed element of both the BSc and MSc degree (UK). Assessment is by number and quality of accepted publications and referee reports.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. All content is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0).
