S2_5_Human_Flight_V2
Abstract
It has been suggested by Robert Zubrin in his book Entering Space: Creating a Spacefaring Civilization, that humans could fly on Saturn’s moon, Titan, by flapping wings, of a reasonable size, attached to their arms. This is a result of the apparent high atmospheric density compared to gravity on Titan. The purpose of this paper is to find a ratio of these variables which would allow an averagely sized human to fly with wings of a realistically manageable size.
