Ben Warne, James Campbell, Afrida Alam, Joe Phelan

Abstract

This paper explores the surface tension of water and how large your feet would have to be to successfully walk on water. It is shown that for a 65 kg person to walk on water, the area of the foot that is in contact with the water would have to be approximately 1.5 km^2.
