Review of a 2019 book on the history of Tunisian museums since the 19th century. The book covers public and private institutions since the French protectorate, describing how political and cultural changes affected exhibition methods and priorities

Amy Levin, Northern Illinois University

Amy Levin is a Professor Emerita at Northern Illinois University. She has written four books on museums and diversity and recently returned from a fellowship in Tunisia.
